OUTDOOR PLAY

"The mud washes away but the memories last a lifetime"

We currently offer Outdoor Play sessions on a Tuesday and Thursday from 09.30-11.00.
We recommend from walking through to 5 years, some children may attend if they are close to walking but this will be at the parent/caregivers discretion following a conversation about the additional risks faced from more mobile children.
We like to switch up our Activities and have different themes each week that we rotate through.  This allows the children to keep engaged and have something new to do each week which also helps develop new skills and build on developing skills.
Our sessions are very much tailored to the outdoor environment and often involve water, mud and other messy play activities.  Please make sure your child and yourself are dressed in clothing you are happy to get messy and dirty and appropriate for the weather and type of play.  In winter this may involve lots of layers, a puddle suit, wellies and warm wooly hat.  In summer this may involve a swim suit/rash vest, sun protection Cream and a hat to protect from the sun.  It is also a good idea to bring a towel and change of clothes, especially if you have a child who loves to get fully involved in the water and mud play, we've found sometimes a pubble suit isn't enough for the child who likes to sit in water.
We offer sessions all year round in all weather conditions so appropriate clothing is essential.  We will only cancel if the weather is deemed a safety risk.
